Welcome to The Dog Baron! By definition the word Baron usually implies royalty or some sort of expertise on a specific subject matter. In our case it means neither. We are not royalty, and we don’t consider ourselves experts in the field of dog training, although we do feel that we have information to share that will benefit a lot of dog owners based on our experiences and years of trials and errors along the way.

What we are is a father and daughter team that loves our dogs and working with them to enrich our lives and to improve the lives of our dogs.

For the most part my daughter and I focus on the sporting line and working lines of dogs but the commonalities of dogs tend to bridge all gaps from tiny toy dogs to giant dog breeds. Although some information is specific for breeds but much of our experience and work with dogs transfers from one breed to the next nicely.

Our goal is to share our experiences and hopefully helping others to learn from our experiences in a lighthearted, non-judgmental and fun way.
